really love these wheels, lighter than stock so that’s a good bonus only downside to the change in wheels is that the car still looks like it’s on stilts

I think it looks good at that height. I live on a dirt road. Could these be related? Maybe.

could well be related haha

Gold wheels on a Subaru are awesome. Not that I’m biased or anything.

I live on a gravel road, I lowered my car. I am also what some might call ‘not the sharpest knife in the drawer’.

Mamma always did call you her special little boy.

To fit in with most of the Toyobaru crowd you now need to get some $500 coilovers and slam it! ;)

definitely no bias at all, oh btw nice car you have there no bias at all in my opinion on that...

will be getting some Tein Flex A’s at some point but it will not be slammed as I want to use mine haha

Are you planning to track the car at all?
The Flex Z/As sound like great values and a quality product for lowering and dailying, but I hear they don’t stand up to actual performance/track driving.

yeah will be doing track, there is a couple people in the drivers club in the uk that track with the tein’s and swear by them being good for their price

Raise It! Rally It! Get Knobbies or 33” Mudders!
...actually, that could be pretty cool.

Gold-wheeled Subi’s are best Subi’s!

Right on. Hope they work out well for ya!
I’ve got my coilovers and LCAs sitting in my room, and camber plates and new wheels are on their way. I can’t wait for winter to be over so I can install all my new suspension goodies and wheels!

There’s a guy who put some 1” spacers on his suspension and some knobbies. I don’t think he actually rallies it, but it’s pretty cool.
Nameless Performance has rally Toyobaru, and Toyota sells a rally ready spec as well.

sounds good, I’m doing this on a shoestring budget so everything is a several months of saving though these wheels came out of other savings so need to replace that
![]() 11/25/2015 at 15:34 |

Yeah, modding on a budget is tough. I’ve pretty much exhausted mine for awhile, but I’d like to get a Nameless or Ace equal length header and EcuTek tune next year.

I went with JDL as I wanted a catted UEL to keep the drone down and also be compliant with emissions
![]() 11/25/2015 at 15:49 |

I’m still debating between catless or catted on the header. I’ll definitely keep the cat on the front pipe, and likely get a Hermoltz resonator to help with drone too, but I may eliminate the one on the header.
![]() 11/25/2015 at 15:51 |

I kept the one in the header as it’ll heat up quicker and be easier to pass emissions as some have failed using a high flow secondary cat

Ah gotchya. Luckily in Illinois they only do an OBDII test. The only way to fail is if they decide to do a visual inspection or sniffer test, neither of which will happen.
I’ll likely get a catted one just to be safe, but we will see. As the headers I’m looking at are both over $1,000, I’ll likely buy used. So it will come down to whatever deal I find.

I regret nothing!
